I want to quit my job!
Feb 09, 2020
How often have you said those words the last year? You want a new career, but have no clue where to start or what to do.
I know the feeling. "Been there, done that".
I was thinking, wondering, and had a lot of fears. I did not know the steps I could take, nor when to take them.
I needed one thing: I needed clarity.
I needed to know what I could do, if it was something that would be achievable — for me, and for my family.
I was going around in circles.
Then, one day, I said to myself: if I EVER come out of this without losing it all, I will help others in my situation.
During the last couple of years, I have had this opportunity. Helping others who now are in a place where I was back then. As well as creating my own business at the same time.
You see, I quit my job back then. I started my own Norwegian company called Einang Safety Consult. A company that is all about fire prevention, leadership training and HSE.
And I made it.
But, there were bumps in the road. It sure was. But it was also so much fun, so much excitement, and so much joy. So, I decided it was time.
Time to help others to do what I had done.
Not just when I quit my job to create my own business. But also what I had done when I quit my job as an HR Manager to start all over in the fire department, where I worked for 16 years before I quit my job as a fire chief back in 2016 to start that business of mine.
And now we are here. At the beginning of a new decade.
I know there are many of you who now want to make a shift.
Who need to know what steps to take, and when to take them. Who need to gain clarity before quitting your job. Who need to build a new mindset to make the shift you want.
I know there are many people out there who want to learn how to create career goals that is right for them, and how to plan (and adjust) to reach those goals, and claim the right career — whether this career is their own business or a new corporate career.
That's why I have created the beta version of New Career Academy, a 4 week course on how to find out what to do and where to start. The beta version of the course is FREE.
Why it's free?
Because it's my beta version. I want the participants to give me honest feedback on the course. And for that reason — it's FREE.
If you want to apply to participate in this beta round of New Career Academy, you can do it here:
Maybe the first quarter of 2020 will help you find out what to do and where to start...
