From the minute you wake up

Uncategorized Nov 04, 2019

It’s all about mindset, from the minute you wake up in the morning. Having a good morning routine where you work on your mindset is a crucial part of getting where you want to go.

It’s like you sow seeds every morning, because you want a great harvest in the end.

You don’t want to sow damaged seeds. But you do want to give the seeds the right care and the right amount of water, so they can grow and become of great value to you and your loved ones.

You start from the minute you wake up in the morning. You plant your seeds the minute you open your eyes.

Here is what your morning routine is going to look like, from you wake up tomorrow and for the rest of this program (and hopefully longer!).

(....To my blog readers: this blog post is taken from my program called Claim Your Dream Career. That is the reason for me saying that "this is your morning routine for the rest of this program")

  1. Write down 3 things you are grateful for this morning

  1. Write down what it is that would make this day a great day (and here you are just allowed to write down things YOU can do something about, not anyone else. That is because you can’t influence other people but yourself)

  1. Write down your BIG goal regarding your dream career (yes, you are going to write down this goal every morning, even though it doesn’t change from one day to the next). When you write it down, I want you to FEEL how it will be the day you have your dream career.

Maybe you are reading this, thinking one of two thoughts right now:

Thought number 1

«How can I manage to do this every morning! I hardly have time to get me that cup of coffee before heading to work!»

My answer to you regarding this thought:

Set your alarm 10 minutes earlier. You will feel soooo good afterwards!

Thought number 2

«How can I manage to do this every morning! I have kids to take care of the minute I open my eyes!»

My answer to you regarding this thought:

I understand if you can’t set your alarm 10 minutes earlier – because your kids are already awake, needing you (I’ve been there myself, with a daughter that woke up every morning between 4:30 and 5:00 am!). In that case, I have to say that doing this morning routine will only take you approximately 5-10 minutes. If you can’t do it before getting out of bed, than do it as soon as you can before you start your day «for real».
